ZDENĚK ADAMEC
Zdeněk Adamec works as Home Credit’s Group IT Security Manager, responsible for the management and development of the information security management system of Home Credit Group. Prior to that, he worked for Volksbank CZ, where he was responsible for managing information from 2005, and then later also for the bank’s physical security. He graduated in IT Management from BIVŠ, and is a holder of CISM certification since 2010.
IMPLEMENTING SECURITY GOVERNANCE IN A MULTINATIONAL FINANCIAL GROUP
There are lots of theoretical definitions of the term “IT (security) governance”. This paper, however, has no intention of being another theoretical essay on that subject. On the contrary, it has the ambition to be a very practical message of concrete experience with building up security governance in an international financial group, with different levels of IT security maturity in different countries. The audience will therefore be acquainted with practical experience, advice and recommendations for setting up effective and functional IT security governance, whose quality is not defined by the existence of sophisticated documentation, but rather by practical results and the positive acceptance by all the stakeholders involved.
