TOMÁŠ FILIP
Tomáš Filip has focused on IT Security for the past 12 years: first at the Czech National Bank, then at Plzeňský Prazdroj and SABMiller, and for the last four years at Česká pojišťovna as Manager of IT Security and concurrently as Global Security Team Leader at Generali Group – Europe. In the last few years he has led several projects focused on IT Security, e.g., local compliance with regulatory requirements (SOX), security monitoring, ensuring data integrity, user lifecycle management, segregation of duties in SAP, and fraud prevention etc.
CLIENT DATA PROTECTION FROM THE MANAGERS’ PERSPECTIVE
Many organizations only address the question of how to protect their clients’ data when their sales network comprises both internal and external distribution channels (insurance agents, root employees, service units, etc.). This is often understood as being a task for IT security, however, this presentation will show that the task is unresolvable from a purely IT perspective and that it requires the close cooperation of the business, processes and IT departments. The presentation includes the actual experience and advice of Česká pojištovna. It demonstrates which risks need to be covered, the tools which were used and something more about untraditional methods for scoring suspicious users.
